Band Instrument Loan Program
A program to loan band instruments to Middle School students who would otherwise not be able to participate in Band.
STEM
The Optimist Club of Huntsville has initiated a program to further STEM education in the schools of Huntsville and Madison County. Our Club has budgeted a total of $16,000 for this purpose, with the individual award maximum per school of $1,000.
Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest
Using only chalk. (A free set of chalk may be obtained at the Optimist Recreational Center, 703 Oakwood Ave NE, Huntsville, AL) while supplies last. Make a creation on your sidewalk or driveway based on the theme: “What the World Needs Now: Love, Joy, Peace, Happiness”
