Passing, Dribbling, and Shooting Contest
Calling all Hoopsters . . .
The Tri-Star Basketball Contest is made up of three events — shooting, passing and dribbling. Each contestant competes in all three events, their scores are added together, and the boy and girl with the highest score in each of three age groups (ages 8- 9, 10- 11, and 12- 13) are declared the winners. While every participant is awarded a ribbon, trophies are awarded for first, second, and third place. The first place winners also receive a professional quality basketball.
This event will occur on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Optimist Recreation Center on Oakwood Avenue just East of Andrew Jackson Way.
Times:
9:30 – 10:00 a.m. 8 - 9 year olds
10:00 - 10:30 a.m. 10 - 11 year olds
10:30 - 11:00 a.m. 12 - 13 year olds
